Don't Dwell in Despair

Don't dwell in despair in the depths of deep darkness,

Or aim for the things that will fill you with sorrow and care;

Don't be negative and pessimistic that brings worry and problems,

But look to the good things of life and don't dwell in despair.

.

Don't dwell in despair where night torments and mistreats you,

But look up to God in the heavenly sky who shines down;

Don't fill out heart with agony and anxiety but love life,

And live filled with blessing from value and what's worth.

.

Don't be down hearted and downtrodden to dwell in despair,

But love one another and help each other to serve and to care;

Don't be a misguider and troubler but look to the God being fair,

Don't dwell in despair single handed alone with yourself and no prayer.

.

Don't look for the dark side of life where your mistreated,

But greet life with passion and favour and breathe fresh air;

Don't dwell in despair where all is miserable and brings strife,

But lift up you head and have pride in victorious life.

.

Don't imagine that people are out to get you to harm you,

But do right and teach others to love and to learn to stay true;

Don't dwell in despair and the doldrums for life is what you can learn,

Lift up your hands to your maker and accept the challenge to earn.

.

Don't dwell in the depths of despair where sinners a lost down in hell,

But create for yourself a future where holiness lives by the bell;

Don't dwell in the depths of despair with hurting and suffering pain,

But look to the grace that God gives you and happily paradise remain.
