The Dolphins

The dolphin is our friend and second smartest to human beings,

They are our neighbouring cousins and mammals that live and breathe;

And their beauty is in their gracefulness of why they are so happy,

For they don't need the luxuries and trimming or deceitfulness of money.

.

They swim and frolic in the love and strength of a little power,

And move so free and easily in the time of constant hower,

Through water always endlessly never walking on the land,

And they eat the fish they find and eat and take from our hand.

.

The doctor always wants a dollar and is never sick or well,

Because he's always treating patients ills with pills that come from hell;

But the dolphin never worries or strives and stresses to strain to live,

But loves the natural wonders of the sea in ocean time to give.

.

They jump and laugh and stand up on their tails,

They have fins that guide and glide through waves like whales;

But dolphins are more like us with brains as big as we,

And they travel around in pods and the nature of the sea.

.

They like the calmness of the closeness to the shore,

And from a boat you can so often see them swim for sure;

As they perform their tricks and tease only just to please,

And where you normally stress and strain, dolphins put you at ease.

.

So dolphins I guess will live on forever in the renewal of the breed,

And you can look along these lines as if upon them you do to read;

For they are calm and relaxing to watch and to me they always lead,

The kindness of their loving looks to be in my books and need.
