If You Never Existed

If you never existed I would never have known,
The beauty you show and the heart you have grown,
If you never existed I never would miss,
The love you have given and you're soft gentle kiss.

If you never existed I'd have not questioned why,
That when I am dead where I'll go when I die;
If you never existed do you think people would ask,
Who or what am I or be taken there to task.

If you never existed or died on a cross,
Do you think people would recover from all of their loss;
If you never existed would there still be a world,
Or would there beginning still come from a word.

If you never existed would the kingdom of heaven come.
Or would we always be waiting in hope of just some;
If you never existed would love fill my heart,
Or would children grow up clever and smart.

If you never existed would trees shoot in spring,
Would animals live without fear of anything;
If you never existed would wisdom prevail,
Would planes all go down or trains leave the wail.

If you never existed would I believe in God,
Could the planets not turn or count stars to be odd;
If you never existed would the world still turn,
Would space be endless or the sun forever burn.

Signed,

Well I know I am here
