In Denial

It's good to discipline and go without things;

It helps to know the difference and gives time to think;

But in denial we strive and lack but the problem is at hand,

To suffer for what's really real for something ideally grand.

It's good to go without things because you can't own it all,

And it is better to know what than want everything you call;

In denial it is a lack of some things that are quite nice to have,

Which teaches us wisdom and reminds us of the things we gave.

In denial we wait and hope and have to work to achieve,

When it's something too hard to know and you have to believe;

God made it all and we have to find out what's what or not,

For the right and the wrong really have cost us all a lot.

If people don't deny themselves the crowd is a cloud,

And we all have to be individual if we are allowed;

For the meaning of life is a quality that is worth all the paradise,

And that takes a real hell of a long time and sometimes a sacrifice.

.

Now in the providing for people it is a nice form of life,

But the duty and law belongs to the husband and wife;

We really must give the family nearly anything at all,

And that means denying oneself so they can stand tall.

.

And the beauty of denial is that it is a heavenly way to suffer,

Which encourages and disciplines and makes people tougher;

For the question of endurance and perseverance is hard,

So in denial you can travel and really go every yard.
