When it all boils down to you and me,
I'm king of the castle but I'll let you see;
For God gives a man what he does ask,
If he is man enough and worthy of the task.
It's a good thing to be heir in your own right,
Where it's always possible for anyone with sight;
Now a castle needs a king and there are many around,
As long as the king is a man standing above the ground.
There's a man and a damsel just waiting to be queen,
And a king should have one because that would help things mean;
But at the end of the day it goes the kings way,
Because he had the power and ability to pay.
So if you think you can be king of your own castle.
I'll grant you the title if you know what's in my parcel;
The challenge is there if you dare to accept,
Of all that I've read and all that I've kept.
Well what is it then that you want from this life,
King of the castle or just a good wife;
For kind things are nice and that's what to desire,
For there you'll find love and learn to acquire.
If truth is the way and we know that it is,
And suffering and pain are good if there his;
Then the king of the castle will rule with fair heart,
For that would be clever and infinitely smart.
