As Hard As Hell

Heaven is a place we go to when we die to live eternally in peace,
But life on earth is as hard as hell as we put things piece to piece;
A wise man once said that life was never meant to be easy,
Because when things are as hard as hell, we cheat and trick the sleazy.

I don't really know what I mean by that, but people want to take their time,
Like I have got all day to sit down and write and rhyme;
You think how does he do it, I really don't know the right way,
When you're use to writing you can sit down and do it all day.

It's a bit like kids at school, trying hard to get a high mark,
And the teacher works like hell, to teach kids to be smart;
For me it does come easy, though being clever has to pay a price,
And when you have to be the best and someone else is better, it's just a slice of life.

So if life is really meant to be, as hard as hell, God must be the leader,
Because I don't have time for anything else, except for your my reader;
So how really do we put all the pieces together, it's really as hard as hell,
Except when God is in control and He guides and leads everything easy.

I think I might as well give up by now, as things are as a hard as hell,
And everything that was meant to be easy I give to God to tell;
For when everything that is really as hard as hell turns into something well,
Then the bank error is in your favour because you had an honest sell.

I guess it's a bit like being in jail when it really is as hard as hell,
And you have no time to smell the roses while you sit within your cell;
For God knows the whole earth is as hard as hell and we have to play our part,
For when everyone chips in and helps each other all you have to do is spell.

Signed,

God does all things well
