Romance

How lovely it is and are the lips of her,
As I think back now to the way we were;
With loving kisses and the beauty in her eye,
All lost now in the perfection of days gone by.

And I look to the horizon of what the lord might have for me,
Of a omen whose beauty is all that I can see;
For I look that the heart as god does to me,
So I wonder who it is and just who is she.

Now I dream of the romance and what lies ahead,
All of the truth I've put behind from what I now dread;
And I look to the future where truth still has heart,
With the love and the romance from God who is smart.

For romance to me is as subtle as a kite,
Without having to worry and without having to skite;
But the beauty is found in the heart of true love,
Where romance is flavoured with a torch from above.

I would rather not look around at them all,
But wait on God for the right one he'll call;
And match me up with her at just the right time,
When all will blend together while I'm still in my prime.

And romance has beauty left still on its own,
Now nearing completion with the answer down deep the bone;
Just sitting there waiting for pluck the right one right out,
With romance and beauty it is a treasure without doubt.

Signed,

Patiently in love
