Faster on Earth

Easier to read than to work so hard,

Better than digging in your own back yard;

Faster on earth than the speed of light,

Another impossibility but quite a possible plight.

Faster on earth than the speed of a car,

No man is capable of beating every single bar;

Faster on earth than its own turn of itself,

More men will worry about their own book shelf.

Faster on earth than a man eating a pie,

More women or water is a care to try or die;

Faster on earth than a train or a bullet,

Is superman likely to make room for a buffet?

Easier to lead than to talk or to organise,

More people to work than you need to supervise;

Faster on earth than the time of the day,

As in rotation you look to see night from the grey.

Faster on earth than every possible quest,

Better to ask questions than give it all a guess;

Faster on earth so is the food then a star,

As a plane flies over and around so far.

Faster on earth than Christ with the money,

Combing my hair as if to meet a new honey:

Faster on earth than a plane flying above,
