An Ocean Of A Day

An ocean of day to see and to sail off to the seas,

Across waves and crests as the clippers are skippered to be;

And it's a beautiful feeling to ride on the swell and cut back through,

With the bow rising to bounce on the surf as the stern follows enough.

And most of the time it is a smooth sail on the ocean by day,

Where the sun sits on the horizon by dawn and sunset in its way,

And during the day out on an ocean the wind billows in the sails,

As the ship sits surrounded by water, miles from land in all ways.

Now each man on the crew must play his part to see him get through,

Where the heart has to answer and the head has to be true;

For the course is plotted and the chart recorded for truth,

As the accuracy of the voyage is in search for what needs proof.

Now as the winds blow and lead way and different directing,

The map is well drawn of what has been discovered detecting,

For the people and the explorers meet, mingle entice and then leave,

Leaving a trace and legacy for each down the line to believe.

An ocean by day with no time like the present drifting on by,

Where time and tide wait for no man but time is on your side;

And there is love in the notion of the freedom on the ocean,

Where love is the potion and passion for romances organ.

Well God had the wheel and God blew the granted wind,

To steer the ship right around and lead the brand new mind;

For heaven was calling and the rope and plank had sinned,

As in hell there is torment but an ocean of day won and winned.
