Degrees

Well it was about the weather and the degrees on the thermometer,

Now it's about the degrees and the temperature at the moment;

As the atmospheric pressure changes from the highs to the lows,

The temperature changes a few degrees as it rights and flows.

.

Degrees are a measurement of the hot and the cold varying,

As it heats up it's higher as it cools down now lower relying;

On the currents and tilt of the axis of the earth as it circulates,

Winning and spinning and sinning as it turns around circularly.

.

Degrees can be the longitude and latitude pinpointing coordinates,

Where we get guidance and measurements for the distance to travel;

Or to refer to the coordinates of a city state or country,

Anywhere on the earth's surface to distinguish what government.

.

Like the poles and the mountains or the equator and tropics,

The heat and the freezing are opposites and relevant topics;

And the crust and the surface both vary and change,

As the degree of temperature changes as the depth and height of heat fall.

.

Nowadays degrees are the sum of a real hell of a lot of work,

When studying and leaning to understand and earn worth;

A degree is a certificate of graduation in one of the arts or fields,

When you complete a discipline or strand or faculty it yields.

.

So if you have a degree or a doctorate or diploma,

Then you have to be honoured and recognised diplomatically,

But a degree at the end of the day is the sign of the circle,

A small little symbol that recognises the sign of the world.

.

Signed,

My Word.
