Double It Up

When you turn around the corner,
There's something around the bend;
When you help make people warmer,
You develop and find a friend.

When you plan on doing something,
You want it to all go right;
When something goes wrong,
You are kept up for the rest of the night.

Sometimes where meant to repeat ourselves,
Because it wasn't done right the first time;
Sometimes when we're not watching or listening,
We lose context of the line or rhyme.

When everything turns out normally,
There is no reason for cause of alarm;
When it all planned out so formally,
You challenge and develop your charm.

But when things all turn out tragically,
You throw back to the pot in the middle;
For when you are forced to double up on things,
It all twists and turns in a riddle.

So next time when you've planned things out logically,
Ensure that they end up that way in the end;
Because the problem with it turning out tragically,
Means that you have to double it up to amend.

Signed,

When only a cross will do
