Serenity

So why on earth do we need all this trouble,
When God almighty can turn and reduce us to rubble;
Serenity is a way of avoiding all this,
It's calm and relaxed unperturbed like a kiss.

So why so much dismay to unsettle us all,
When right from our birth our death is on call;
Serenity makes time for love and for peace,
Like life all abounding and never to cease.

So why go out at night for the thrill,
When the heart can be found in climbing a hill;
Serenity is looking out on all the beauty around,
It's like the garden and flowers in the ground.

Serenity is clear and eternally thankful,
Like a pond with some fish and a lilly so tranquil;
But serenity is loving and learning to care,
For all in the kingdom and life that is rare.
