The Eagle

The eagle flies high in the sky above,

With elegance and power with wings of love;

And it's eye is bright and so sharp and true,

As it looks down to earth above me and you.

.

There it soars and glides and climbs and dives,

As swift as an eagle is from rocky crags it lives;

And the eagle has power and strength and sees so straight,

That lamb and hawk and lion will all come to relate.

.

The meaning is one of skill and need to survive,

As fox scurries and rabbit scatters to remain alive;

And the swoop and dive is direct to the point,

The eagle must eat its prey so as not to disjoint.

.

There the mountain stands and rises to heaven's sky,

As the currents carry and uplift and downward fly;

For the eagle is the prince and king of the air,

Because from such heights you can't beat the eye to care.

.

The eye of the eagle is like a diamond or gem,

That sees so clearly and brightly it seems to shine in them;

For they are the royal and priestly bird of the sky,

Where you must fully appreciate the look of the eagles eye.

.

The earth below as they climb to highest altitudes,

Looks where the nest is placed with safety gratitude;

Now the eagle carries on upwards to the place of thee,

For you are the eagle who has stolen the heart of me.

.

Signed,

Effortless Flight.
