An Idea

An idea is always good to have because it's an idea,

A bad idea is not good to have because it's not a good idea;

And a good idea is good to have because it's a good idea,

Good ideas make money and bad ideas are bad and bad for you.

I have an idea as I sit here in a motel in Queanbeyan,

The Queen is coming to Canberra and I think it's a good idea;

As an idea is worth a lot and costs very much to give and have,

You really must take it straight to the top that's why I am here.

.

Zaichias climbed a tree to see the king coming into town,

And I am going to stand around and hope the Queen looks down;

And whether she does with favour or whether the weathers right,

Will all depend on where I stand and if I have to stand till night.

.

Well she is a very important person, the most important person on earth,

And I am just a humble man trying hard to point out my worth;

It will really take some divine intervention to attract her attention at all,

Because in such a big and mighty crowd, I am going to feel very small.

.

But the truth of the times and all the money on earth to pay,

Is simply really out of the question for me even putting it this way;

But in times like these, this is just an idea of suggestion,

That Christ might come back in a different form of selection.

.

So what does an idea mean at a critical time like this?

I think I would settle to just shake her hand and find a wife to kiss;

But the best thing in life and beauty of it all is that it's free,

As in life it's best not to worry and just let it eternally be.
