Only God is good or didn’t you know it was true,
Was it hard for you to say right off the tip of your tongue;
Couldn’t you understand it perfectly that it was so very hard,
Couldn’t you live and learn that only God id good and not to disregard.
Couldn’t you believe it right when you were told for the very first time,
Couldn’t you imagine any thin better than only God is good in rhyme;
Couldn’t you think to understand only God is good enough to beat,
And couldn’t you believe that God is good and abuse way is smart and best to eat.
Couldn’t you learn to know the truth and comprehend his ways,
Couldn’t he put you in the picture as only God is good all days;
Couldn’t listen and try to love the reason and eternal plan,
Couldn’t fathom the deepest treasures that God is good to man.
Couldn’t you look up to the sky above and in awe admire him,
Ad couldn’t you love him more than me when you like me were dim;
Couldn’t you give him credit for the things as only God knows how,
Couldn’t offer up a gift from your heart because God is good right now.
So only God is good you know and really don’t feel too bad,
Because we all sin and fall short of him and need the grace to be glad;
And don’t despise yourself or surrender to the evil that leads astray,
As God is good and greater than the universe through all your love long days.
Only God is good you know and he has a perfect plan for you,
His eyes see everywhere you know and when times are blue he’s too;
Only God id good you know because the best is yet to come,
That one day in eternity you will repeat your whole life’s sum.
