We Cant do Anything Right

We have to write to sell but to cell you can’t do anything right,

So until we do something about it we can’t do anything but write;

We can’t do anything right whether we’ve got the money or not,

Because in poetry everything takes time and you rhyme free for what.

We can’t do anything right but write to put food on the table,

Even when we clean and dust it's left up to the knight to be stable;

And we write all night to be right but can’t sleep as able,

Because the queen means something difference and the king a cable.

So the lead is there to read if you are capable and have the ability,

If you are not drunk all night and we can’t do anything to disable;

Then we all have to write and learn like going back to school,

Because the teachers were on strike and school holidays the children’s rules.

We can’t do anything right so I guess we had better follow them all,

Because we learn to understand that we all have the right to call;

And we write for money and children get told to eat and play,

So that we can do what’s right and sleep at night and write all day.

Now there’s always someone wrong and we seem to take exception,

Just like me and you with the crime of poetry and its expectations;

As the reception and conception are difficult to comprehend,

For fully understanding comprehension we have to learn to expand.

We can’t do anything right so we have to write the inspection,

So we can drive around all the time and make love the information;

And it's a wondrous land to live and we need to protection,

Because the ministry and the military and management projection.
