Rockets

Advancement is the reason and purpose or cause,

Of why continuing to progress and abide by the laws;

In which we can rise and reach out through to space,

Where we leave the earths sky or atmospheres trace.

Rockets are a means or way to reach out and do this,

That we can fly to the moon or planets not to miss;

The objectives to find a new place to inhabit or dwell,

Where we can go on living as the earth goes to hell.

A beautiful idea to reach out and to travel and search,

Like birds heading skyward and fly off of their perch;

And the magic of mystery is to uncover the unknown,

As God leads all history from where the winds were blown.

The brilliance of technology enables us to move forward,

Far beyond limits and going off into space or toward;

A new life and a challenge for us all to now master,

That the distance to travel, rockets can now do faster.

.

So rockets are now the right direction for the future,

Where civilization transcends to places going further;

With imaginations only restricted by a definite reality,

That the end of infinity is only our eternity's ideality.

It all looks a bit bleak out on the horizon at this time,

With telescopes telling we're so far from the sublime;

Perhaps we can take off and just orbit around the earth,

This place that we love and this home that is worth.
