Out and About

Around and around and out and about,

Above and beyond goes without doubt;

Inside and outside to the wild open doors,

To the outback from coast from shore to shores.

.

The wide or the narrow gate I'm now not sure,

Or the room and roof to back or front door;

The outhouse and in house, garage or lawn,

From sunrise to sunset, from twilight till dawn.

.

To the shopping centre or beach, I go by car,

To the sun or the moon or seeing a star;

Around and about and out for the day,

With all of the traffic, it sure goes its way.

.

The roundabout and traffic lights which to prefer,

The bus stop and train stop and which to defer,

I beg to differ at all the different in that,

The fish and the bird, the dog and the cat.

.

To the bank or the supermarket, out and about,

The money or the income and spending without;

The work and the restaurant, food on the table,

The track or rails, the pill or the stable.

.

Finally out and about to come, go and return,

With all that you eat and all that your earn;

Overhead or underneath above and beyond,

Out and about what is the reason it shone.

.

Signed,

The Right Season.
