Mercy

Mercy is a gift of love to someone else who is in need,

To someone who is hurting and another can help and lead;

Someone who can show favour to a person in distress,

Someone who can point the right way to show how to fix a mess.

.

Mercy is compassion and caring how to make a person feel better,

It is showing consideration for a kindness, when the law is to the letter;

It is freely pardoning someone who has suffered without reason,

It is eliminating error in the judgement and rightly seeing season.

.

I know I beg to differ and that I must be an individual man,

And insist on my rights for being informed and intelligent plan;

For if I am not right for meaning that me, I can't be pleased that easy.

So I hope you will forgive me for that and show a little mercy.

.

I think that mercy is the merit of things someone going free,

And the loneliness in being right is a consideration not to be;

For happiness is love in sharing your life with someone else like me,

And that joy is a deterrent then you're at the mercy of the other person's plee.

.

Mercy you see is beautiful to someone who has failed and tried,

For they are given another go to do something they have admired;

And if the way it all goes around and just how about it's all worked out,

Shows the mercy in forgiveness when denial doubles all the doubts.

.

So now I hope that I can show that there is some mercy at my pen,

And that you can see a way to alleviate pointing vindictively right then;

For if there is mercy for me and you then Christ was on the cross,

And he showed it with his love and life when we all might well of lost.

.
