Have faith in life and a cup of tea to warm you up,

That in death when it passes everything will be alright;

Have faith when things seem to want to get you down,

Look up to the bright blue sky when it's grey all night.

Someone goes out of their way to put something in the bin,

People have faith that when they're wrong God will forgive their sin,

So have faith in life and time and money will all come in,

That when you love God you will do the right thing to win.

I had a good brain and someone had a better brain than me,

I put my faith in life and I have a good mind being free;

I know things cost money but God leaves that all up to me,

For when I have faith in life the hope of light must be.

For when you believe in yourself you really try hard to be fit;
